We studied and analyzed section 4 the various levels and strategy of transformation and undertakings using TIC-like means of integration.
The use of applications specific to an activity of management then, of a data-processing platform common to the whole activities of business management represent the first two levels of transformation.
Level three, known under the name of BPR, represents a revolution and a reorganising of the manner of working using TIC like lever to reconfigure and reduce the number of the internal processes of management in the company. The impact on this level can be very significant in terms of reduction of the costs and manpower to do the same work.
The level which results from this includes the environment of the company and its partners to extend it's total effectiveness, it largely calls upon the telecommunications networks to transmit data (EDI).
We noted that the benefit accrued from TIC is obtained only after basic transformation of the strategic choices of the organization. These internal processes (structure and process), of the data-processing platform and data-processing architecture. Here is the true strategic lesson to draw from this study.
The strategic approach of TIC takes into account the interdependence and alignment between the strategy of organizations and that of information technologies TIC strategic alignment and its model "FARMHOUSE" are used as conceptual framework not only to identify the desired interdependence but also to make the decisions and to undertake the actions which will make it possible to achieve the precise goals of the organization, those having been fixed by an active management.
The increasing complexity of the operations of the company and the network of relations which it weaves with its environment leads the company to carry out a modeling not only its working procedure but also of the relations of interdependences which it has with its environment made up of the partners, customers, providers, competitors, institutions and various administrations.
